I've taken down the Guild Wars Modding website for now, since noone really used it at all.
If I get any more interest, I might think about bringing it back.
In other news, I have a newly redesigned website for my mods. There are also some new screenshots from my Tyrian Transformation Pack mod.
Guild Wars Mods: http://dfcowell.net/index.php?/3
Dark Glass: http://dfcowell.net/index.php?/4
TTP: http://dfcowell.net/index.php?/5
There are a couple more on the website.

Unfortunately it's a work in progress and only Ascalon City is working properly, however eventually, I hope to have a fully functional mod for the entire ascalon area. When that's the case, I will release it to the community.
I may release a few intermediate unfinished versions if I feel like it between then and now too.

I'm having some trouble figuring out how to remove the fog in Ascalon, is this possible, or will I have to learn to live with it?

Alpha Channel editing
Use Photoshop, click on Channels panel, click on the lil "eye" icon to make it visible like the RGB ones and use white/black to mask/show stuff
You cant apply this to every part of a char since you cant edit/delete model parts, kinda useful for hair textures though ^^ they are bugged a lot
example for this ranger pic, i removed a lock of hair

Fog is rendered by hardware, so unless you find another D3D hack like TexMod, you're out of luck. The old G-Stats used to remove fog or colour it different colours, or make it change colours based on time (disco fog), but I don't think the source code is available anymore.

Need some help testing my new mod,Working with the tinted specs from GW:EN looking to produce a set for each profession - Currently have rit:
Thing is I'm unsure how they work, for example unlike most armor mods, Hair, skin colour and armor set/colour don't matter...So im looking to see if these are truly generic - Will this mod work on other classes if they do that will save me alot of time..if not
So if anyone has tinted specs on either a female rit or a differnt class feel free to download the mod and report back to my - thanks for your help!
P.S
oh and the mods here:

I saw this thread the other day, and was inspired. I'm still on the incredibly simple, of course, but here was my first mod, a reskin of the Azure Shortbow to a color I preferred:
By the way, does anyone know how to get rid of the shine on the weapon? The crystals were meant to shine, but somehow the rest does too, now.
EDIT: I played around a bit more, and made this:
